Three students of Bethel Baptist High School, Kaduna, have escaped from their captors.
A source told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE that the students were found around Kasuwar Magani Sunday evening after they escaped from their captors five days earlier.
This is coming barely 24 hour after the bandits released 28 out of the 121 students abducted in the school on July 5.
Two other students had earlier escaped from custody before they were recovered by the police.
A relative of one of the students who confirmed the development said the three students had spent five days roaming inside the forest before they finally met another herder who directed them out of the forest.
He said one of the escaped students who could recall his father’s phone number borrowed a phone to call home before his father went to pick them up.
