The Chief of Defence Staff, General Leo Irabor Wednesday said that military operations at the peak of Boko Haram activities in the Northeast, was polticised.
He disclosed this during the maiden 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE Roundtable with the theme: “Going for broke: Fighting Insecurity in Nigeria”, which held at the Shehu Ya;radua Centre, Abuja.
He was a guest speaker at the event.
“At some point the military approach to tackling insecurity was polticised. It became profound that even the good intentions of the military was misunderstood,” Irabor noted.
