An NGO, Arewa Think Tank, says it will orgainse a prayer session to mark the 74th birthday of President Bola Tinubu on March 29, 2026.
The prayers would be offered for the victory of the President in the 2027 general election, the group said.
Convener of the group. Mohammed Alhaji Yakubu, said the event would commence at 10 am with Governor Uba Sani as the chief host, while a former Governor of the State, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero as chairman of the occasion.
Former Governor of Zamfara State, Senator Abdulaziz Yari is the Special Guest of honour during the prayers that would be hosted at Arewa House Auditorium in Kaduna.
Kaduna-based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Musa Yahaya who is the Chief Imam of the Juma’at Mosque Unguwar Rimi would lead the prayer session.
During the prayers, there would be recitation of the Holy Qur’an as well as other prayers for President Tinubu, other leaders and the country.
This is the second time the Arewa Think Tank will organise similar prayer sessions for the President, other Nigerian leaders and the country.
It would be recalled that when President Tinubu marked his 72nd birthday, the group organised fervent prayers held in Kaduna to mark the occasion.
