Ebonyi State Governor Dave Umahi on Tuesday informed President Muhammadu of his intention to run for the presidency.
This came barely 24 hours after the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, also made his intention known to the president to vie for the country’s topmost seat.
Umahi told State House correspondents after meeting with Buhari that his intention has been formally communicated to the president.
