National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, wrote to the House of Representatives to inform them of his plan to run for the position of the country’s president.
The former Lagos State governor specifically requested to meet with members of the APC caucus of the House.
Reading out the letter during plenary, the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, said Tinubu requested to see the party caucus on March 16, 2022.
“It will be appropriate for me to establish a discourse with members regarding our political and policy ideas for the nation and how we can best bring to the people the security, progress and prosperity they do clearly deserve.
“I want to share my vision for the nation with the caucus members and to hear likewise from them,” Tinubu said.
