Secretary to the Katsina State Government, Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, Commissioner of Sports and Social Development Sani Aliyu Danlami, and the Special Adviser Political Affairs, Kabiru Shuaibu Charanci, have all resigned from their posts.
In the resignation letters seen by 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE, the appointees commended the governor for giving them the opportunity to serve the state.
Inuwa has since declared for the position of governor in the 2023 general elections.
Danlami, who represented Katsina federal constituency from 2015 to 2019, is set to contest for the seat again.
On his part Charanci, who also represented Rimi, Charanci, Batagarawa from 2015 to 2019, is now contesting for the Katsina Central senatorial seat.
Meanwhile, sources at the Katsina Government House told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE on condition of anonymity, that the current Chief of Staff to the governor, Muntari Lawal, will be appointed as the new Secretary to the State Government.
