The Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday has the governorship candidate of the PDP in Delta, Sheriff Oborevwori, over discrepancies in his certificates.
The court judgment declared that Mr Sheriff is unqualified to run for office come 2023.
The Presiding Judge, Justice Taiwo Taiwo, had ruled that the plaintiff, David Edevbie, proved beyond reasonable doubt that Oborevwori was unqualified by the discrepancies in his documents.
Reacting to the judgment, the PDP state chairman, Mr. Kingsley Esiso, said he had not read the judgment to know the next line of action to take.
Mr Esiso said, “I have not read the judgment; you know I’m a lawyer and I need to study it before I can speak on it.”
