Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu; chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Aminu Tambuwal; Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed; and some key stakeholders of the party are currently in a closed-door meeting at the party’s secretariat, Abuja.
Also in the meeting include mer Senate President, David Mark; former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko; former Cross River State Governor, Liyel Imoke, and Senator Philip Aduda, among others.
The meeting, according to The PUNCH, was part of the ongoing move to pick a running mate for the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar ahead of the 2023 elections.
