Eighteen people have died and two others missing after a bridge collapsed due to flooding in Kano.
Witnesses said 18 bodies have been recovered so far.
The bridge located along Riruwai road in Doguwa local government of Kano state, caved in after downpour that lasted hours.
The victims were returning from Doguwa when the tragedy struck Friday the evening.
Among the victims was a father and his four sons.
The victims were buried according to Islamic rites.
There is no official statement from the Kano State Fire Service yet.
