At least 10 policemen on Monday sustained injuries in an accident that involved the convoy of Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.
Reports say that the accident happened around 1:30 pm when the governor went for inspection of a 60- kilometer road project in Tafawa Balewa local government area of the state.
An eyewitness said the Toyota Hilux conveying the police officers veered off the road and somersaulted twice after losing control as a result of the huge dust that made visibility almost impossible.
Reports say no life was lost and the victims of the accident had been taken to the Bununu general hospital in Tafawa Balewa LGA for treatment.
